Seascapes
These are paintings that have without doubt been inspired by the rugged land and seascape of the beautiful North Cornwall coast. Get yourself there as soon as you can.
My seascapes are less about postcard shores and more about the restless conversation between water, sky, and whatever is hidden beneath.
Instead of neat horizons and clear blue waves, horizons blur, structures dissolve, and the boundary between sea and sky becomes a question rather than a line. These paintings hold that charged, in-between moment when the tide is turning, a storm is clearing, or dusk is about to fall, inviting you to stand inside the feeling of the sea rather than simply look at it.
