Access to Stratford upon Avon is to be decided by size. New restrictions based on National Clothing Size (NCS) have been introduced by both Town and District Council as to when people may enter the Town (not District) Stratford upon Avon.

A Spokesperson for the District and Town Councils explains…

‘Due to a combination of Covid 19 restrictions being lifted by the Government, the summer months and therefore the increase of visitors to the beautiful Town of Stratford upon Avon, it has been decided  that access to Stratford upon Avon is to be decided by size.

The restrictions are as follows…

Monday & Tuesday.

Example Four.  XL.

Only those who register XL (Extra-Large) on the NCS (Normal Clothing Scale) will be allowed access to the Town Centre and Leisure Areas including The Bancroft and the Recreation Ground.

We hope that these restrictions are seen for what they are which is an attempt to free up space allowing proper Social Distancing. We believe as a Town and District Council that ‘Sizing’ is the way forward to a healthier and spaced-out society’.
